As the year comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to pause and reflect. We wanted to share some of the moments that have shaped Moo & Yoo over the past year, and to say thank you. None of this happens without our community, and it feels important to take you on the journey, to share the experiences, milestones and lessons that have mattered most to us as a family business.
One Year as a B Corp Beauty Brand
This year marked our first full year as a certified B Corporation, something we remain deeply proud of. Becoming a B Corp was such a huge achievement for us, and allowed us to show accountability, transparency and commitment to doing business in a way that considers people, the planet and purpose equally.

Our Annual Wellness Retreat
One of our highlights every year is our annual wellness trip to the west coast of Scotland. Taking time away allows us to reconnect with nature, each other, and our values.
Our days were spent swimming in the loch, paddleboarding, walking in the National Park and slowing things down with yoga, reading and rest. These trips remind us that wellbeing is not something we simply talk about as a brand, but something we actively prioritise in our lives and our work.

Family Business of the Year for Scotland
In November this year, Moo & Yoo was named ‘Family Business of the Year’ for Scotland at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in London. Being recognized in this way felt incredible.
As a mother-daughter team who started Moo & Yoo with a simple hope to create gentle, sustainable haircare that felt luxurious, meaningful and kind, this recognition means more than we can say. We are so proud.

Podcasts
This year also gave us opportunities to share our story. Suzie joined The Scared Start Over Podcast, where she spoke about reinventing at any age, her personal journey, and the different businesses she has built throughout her life.
Together, we also spoke on the Her First Three Years podcast, where we reflected on the early days of Moo & Yoo. We talked about how the brand began, the challenges of those first three years, and what it takes to build a sustainable beauty business from the ground up.

Moo & Yoo at Ardbeg House, Islay
One particularly special moment of the year was seeing our products in Ardbeg House by the Louis Vuitton Group on the Isle of Islay. Having Moo & Yoo represented in a gorgeous hotel and beautiful Scottish setting is amazing.

Press Coverage
Throughout the year, we were grateful to see Moo & Yoo featured in several UK publications including Indie Best, The Arcadia, Live That Glow, The Handbook, The Daily Express and many more. Each feature is a great way to introduce our gentle, vegan haircare to new audiences who are looking for products that balance performance, aesthetics and sustainability.

Supporting Causes Close to our Hearts
Giving back remains a core part of who we are. Over the past year, we continued our support of MindOut, One Tree Planted and Edinburgh Women’s Aid. These charities carry out incredible work every single day and we are very proud to support them.

New Product Launches and Thoughtful Gifting
In 2025 we also saw the launch of our travel minis, designed to make sustainable haircare more accessible wherever life takes you. We also introduced our Christmas Hampers and Candle, created to encourage slower moments, meaningful rituals and moments of calm during the busy season.

Looking Ahead with Gratitude
As we look ahead to 2026, there are many exciting projects quietly taking place behind the scenes. New products, new collaborations and new ways of continuing to grow Moo & Yoo thoughtfully and responsibly.
Above all, we want to say thank you. To our customers, stockists, community and supporters, your trust and belief allow us to keep doing what we are doing.
Thank you for supporting us through this great year!
