Below is a simple guide to each part of your product and how to dispose of it responsibly.
We believe you should know exactly what your packaging is made from and what to do with it once you have finished using it. We are committed to reducing unnecessary material, improving recyclability, and creating packaging that feels considered in both design and impact.
This is an ongoing process, and we will continue to evolve as better solutions become available.
OUR PACKAGING COMPOSITION
Our approach is simple: keep what works, improve what does not, and be open about the journey. We want our packaging to feel
considered in your space and thoughtful in its impact.
GLASS BOTTLES & JARS
Glass is infinitely recyclable and can be
reused or recycled again and again without losing quality.
ALUMINIUM BOTTLES, TINS & LIDS
Aluminium is widely recyclable and making it a durable and responsible choice.
PUMPS & SPRAY TOPS
Pumps are made from multiple materials to ensure performance. They are not currently recyclable through standard household systems but can be reused.
REFILL POUCHES
Our refill pouches are made from a single type of plastic. This means they are designed to be recyclable, unlike many traditional multi-layer alternatives.
HOW TO RECYCLE MOO & YOO PRODUCTS
Recycling systems vary across the UK.
Even when materials are designed to be recyclable, they must be disposed of correctly to ensure they are processed.
We always recommend checking your local council guidance for the most accurate information in your area.

PACKAGING WEIGHT COMPARISON
LESS WEIGHT. LOWER IMPACT.
By reducing weight and volume, refill pouches allow significantly more product to be transported using less energy.
This is particularly important for delivery, distribution, and overall transport impact.
OVER 15X LESS MATERIAL
THE REFILL SYSTEM
KEEP. REFILL. REUSE.
Why we introduced refill pouches
Our glass packaging remains at the heart of what we do. However, we are always looking at ways to reduce our overall impact.
Glass is durable and infinitely recyclable, but it is also heavier to transport.
Refill pouches allow us to significantly
reduce packaging weight while supporting a refill system, where you keep and reuse your original bottle rather than replacing it each time.
Unlike traditional multi-layer pouches, ours are made from a single material and are designed to be recyclable when disposed of correctly.
We see this as a step forward, not a step away. A way to reduce material use and our carbon footprint while continuing to improve how our packaging performs at end of life.
